That phrase "forced revisions" is just stunning. It makes life feel less like a grand, planned-out story and more like a messy, live document. The idea that we don't just choose to change but we get edited by circumstance, and we have to find a way to make the new draft beautiful anyway. It’s a really comforting, slightly heavy, but incredibly grounding way to look at getting older.

exactly they really aren’t worth it unless you’re someone who likes long nails + complicated designs. I try not to think about the germ potential lol
